The Overview
Over the years my work has focused primarily on websites and applications. By merit of focusing on small businesses, most of those projects are no longer live. To get a sense for my design approach, take a close look at this and the website for Three Pines Ventures. My design style tends to focus on "what would be the most approachable to a person on the Autism Spectrum." And thus focuses on minimalistic approach with high color contrasts and soft tones. Or to put it bluntly. "I want you to be relaxed while using this, not stressed because of it."
Tech Stack
Over the years I've primarily utilized frontend web technologies based on Javascript.
- Javascript
- React/Next
- Angular/Ionic
- Node/ExpressJs
- HTML/CSS/SCSS
- CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind)
- C# (fun story, please ask about it)
Design Tools
When wireframing for potential clients and working with figma or sketch. Adobe, in my opinion, is overpriced.
- Figma
- Sketch
- Adobe Suite (when I'm not paying for it...)
Product Lifecycle
Designing the product people are looking for that makes a difference to them makes this worth it.
- Wireframing
- Consumer Research
- Agile Methodologies
Soft Skills
You can be the best at what you do. If you can't communicate/be a team player, it's useless. So I practice
- A Consumer First Mindset
- Team Communications
- Strategic Planning
